Planting Seasons
Here in Crestview, we can grow vegetables year-round. Crops are classified as "Cool Weather Crops", generally planted once the oppressive heat of summer is waning and autumn approaches or in the spring. "Warm Weather Crops", are those that thrive with warmer soil temperatures and in longer days . Even warm season crops fail, though in the withering heat of summer. Time to relax indoors or at the beach!
